Design progressing for new Maleny Fire Station

BBN Constructions are pleased to report that the design for the new Maleny Fire and Emergency Services facility is well underway, with a view to begin construction on the project late December.

The Dixon Avenue facility will house all three QFES services, including Fire and Rescue Service auxiliary firefighters, State Emergency Service volunteers and Rural Fire Service volunteers.

QFES responds to a wide variety of incidents, from road traffic crashes, structure fires and specialist rescues, to larger-scale emergencies such as bushfires, cyclones, and floods. This new facility will ensure QFES has a greater operational response for Maleny and the wider hinterland community.

We look forward to posting updates on the progress.
